ACS Webinar: Recap of FDA’s “Modernizing Food and Drug Administration Recalls” Meeting

The US Food and Drug Administration hosted a hybrid public listening session in September entitled, “Modernizing Food and Drug Administration Recalls.” ACS is hosting a webinar recapping the meeting and sharing information pertinent to ACS members.
Topics to be covered in this webinar are: innovation in technology for moving to digital communication and getting away from antiquated methods to communicate recalls, upcoming ideas about alerts on mobile phones for localized food safety outbreaks, creating a color-coded alert system based on risk factors, creating a database for food allergen recalls, use of software for traceability, etc.
This session is free for ACS members and will be hosted by Ron Tanner, Susan Rigg, and Adam Brock.
