Eliza joined ACS in 2015 as Office & Programs Coordinator. In 2016, she transitioned into the role of Membership & Programs Manager. Her attraction to work for ACS was rooted in her love of food and her passion for cooking. She holds certificates as a Natural Foods Chef and a Holistic Health Coach from the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Eliza also holds a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Colorado-Boulder (CU). Soon after graduating from CU, she moved to New York City to pursue her musical and artistic endeavors. She recorded and released a solo album in 2007 called, Savannah, and toured around the Mid-West in a VW Bus playing small dive bars and coffee shops. After moving back to Colorado in 2008, she joined a local band called Fellow Citizens, who were together until 2011. Besides cooking and playing music, Eliza also loves to travel. She studied abroad in Nicaragua and Ghana, West Africa and has had the privilege to travel to many other countries including Cuba, Australia, China, India, and Nepal. These days she spends more time on the home turf – cooking, spending time with friends and family and learning about cheese!
