Sue Langstaff, UC Davis, and California Olive Oil Council Taste Panels

Sue Langstaff is a sensory scientist working for her own consulting company, Applied Sensory, LLC. She is the leader of the UC Davis Olive Oil Taste Panel and is also a member of the California Olive Oil Council Taste Panel. In 2013, Sue was head judge for the New Zealand Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards held in Auckland. She has also been a judge at the Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition for both the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere. Sue is co-editor of the book Olive Oil Sensory Science, published by Wiley, and is the creator of “The Defects Wheel for Olive Oil.”\
