Directions to the hotel, parking, and public transportation information can be found on the hotel website. Click here for more information.
Upon arrival, all presenters should stop by the ACS Registration Desk located at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, downstairs. Pick up your registration packet on-site at the Pre-Registration area which will include your Conference Name Badge, Presenter Ribbon, and a reminder with details about your session’s date, time, and location. We also suggest you view the Conference Schedule to familiarize yourself with the details of your session. This information will be provided soon.
Please submit your presentation (PowerPoint or other format) to Eliza Wetherill at [email protected] no later than June 15. All sessions will be posted on the members-only section of the ACS website immediately following the Conference. Any additional related articles, materials, or handouts you supply will also be posted for you.
The deadline for submission of handouts for printing by ACS is June 15, 2017. If you submit materials for printing by the deadline, these will be in your session room set out on each attendee’s chair. If you have handouts for your session that were not submitted by the deadline, you are responsible for printing them yourself and bringing them to your session. A conference staff member or volunteer will be available to distribute the handouts for you. Please contact Eliza Wetherill at [email protected]society.org to find out the quantity you will need to print for your particular session.
All concurrent sessions last 90 minutes and should begin and end promptly at the designated time. Please arrive in your session room to confirm that the audio-visual set-up is working properly and that any other special details or equipment are in order. If there is any problem, report it immediately to the nearest conference staff member or to the Registration Desk. An ACS Board Member or volunteer will be on hand to introduce you. If you are a moderator or a presenter of a cheesemaking demonstration, you will find a brief introductory script in your registration packet.
PLEASE NOTE: All speakers must bring your own laptop. ACS cannot provide these for you. If you have a Mac computer, please bring ALL cords with you. Since Mac’s come equipped with multiple cords and adaptors it will be your responsibility to bring the appropriate cord for A/V setup.
ACS will have a bookstore open to attendees throughout the conference. The bookstore will be located downstairs in the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. If you would like to have a book signing please complete the Author Book Signing section of your ACS Presenter Agreement Form ASAP.
