    Speaker Check-In
Upon arrival, all presenters should stop by the ACS Registration Desk located in the Main Lobby of the Raleigh Convention Center. Pick up your registration packet on-site at the Pre-Registration area which will include your Conference Name Badge, Presenter Ribbon, and a reminder with details about your session’s date, time, and location.  We also suggest you view the Conference Schedule to familiarize yourself with the details of your session.

    Presentations
If you have not already done so, please submit your presentation (PowerPoint or other format) to Steve Binns at programs@cheesesociety.org immediately. All sessions will be posted on the members-only section of the ACS website immediately following the Conference. Any additional related articles, materials, or handouts you supply will also be posted for you. These should be submitted NOW in order to be posted to the website during the conference.

    Handouts
The deadline for submission of handouts for printing by ACS was June 10, 2012. If you submitted materials for printing by the deadline, these will be in your session room set out on each attendee’s chair. If you have handouts for your session that were not submitted by the deadline, you are responsible for printing them yourself and bringing them to your session. A conference staff member or volunteer will be available to distribute the handouts for you. Please contact Steve Binns at sbinns@cheesesociety.org to find out the quantity you will need to print for your particular session.

    Session Logistics
All sessions last 90 minutes and should begin and end promptly at the designated time. Please arrive in your session room to confirm that the audio-visual set-up is working properly and that any other special details or equipment are in order. If there is any problem, report it immediately to the nearest conference staff member or to the Registration Desk. An ACS Board Member or volunteer will be on hand to introduce you. If you are a moderator or a presenter of a cheesemaking demonstration, you will find a brief introductory script in your registration packet.

PLEASE NOTE: All speakers must bring your own laptop.  ACS cannot provide these for you.  If you have a Mac computer, please bring ALL cords with you. Since Mac’s come equipped with multiple cords and adaptors it will be your responsibility to bring the appropriate cord for A/V setup.

    Conference Bookstore
ACS will have a bookstore open to attendees throughout the conference.  The bookstore will be located in the Main Lobby of the Raleigh Convention Center.  The schedule for book signings has already been set for 2012.
